(Philips Respironics) These peak flow meters meet or exceed ATS
standards for accuracy and precision. They offer an integrated three-
zone asthma management system recommended by NAEPP that helps
patients comply with treatment regimens. The color-coded indicators
can be adjusted to delineate a patient’s green, yellow and red zones
based on a personal best peak flow. Available in full (60 to 810 L/
min in 10 L/min increments) and low (50 to 390 L/min in 5 L/min
increments) ranges, both with companion card.

ASSESS Peak Flow Meters
(Philips Respironics) ASSESS peak flow meters feature zone clips on
the side of each meter that allows patients and doctors to use either
a three- or four-zone management system to monitor and treat
asthma conditions. The clips help patients understand their peak
flow readings by making it simple to locate their personal “safety,”
“caution” and “danger” peak flow zones and follow doctors’
orders in treating conditions for each zone.
The meters are made of impact-resistant, clear polycarbonate
and have an easy-to-read scale that measures either low or full
flow ranges from 30 to 390 L/min in 5 L/min increments or 60 to
880 L/min in 10L/min increments, respectively. Both meters are
designed to meet ATS standards for accuracy and precision.
Size: 8.0"L x 1.5"W; thickness: 1.3". Disposable one-way valve
mouthpieces are available, offering protection from cross-
contamination during multipatient screenings.
